Festival calling workshops with Martyn Harvey
NEW FOR 2024: As part of our commitment to performer development, highly experienced caller and festival regular Martyn Harvey will be leading a short series of caller development workshops on the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of this year’s festival. These are intended for existing callers in any genre – Ceilidh, Contra or Playford – who would like to develop their skills to the degree where they can confidently hope for festival bookings. A wide range of practical topics will be covered.
Optionally, there will also be opportunities for some participants to call in an evening ceilidh or dance later in the week (Tuesday evening’s ceilidh or Thursday evening’s mixed programme dance, depending on preferred dance genre).

All three workshops will take place at Eskmouth Scout Hall, 4.00pm-5.20pm.
